And the maker of these bamboo rods is..............
..... I believe it has been narrowed down to two manufacturers. Take a very close look at the ferrules, cork grips and reel seats.

A. J. Stamm most likely refinished the rods. They probably are from the high end line of a mass maker in New York and/or Massachusetts. Lets see if you can pick my brain. These two made a lot of mass production rods.

The general consensus is that A.J. Stamm refinished these rods. Rod number one appears to be a high end Montague. Step down ferrules usually equals Montague. Take a look at this Monty:

Rods two, three and five appear to be Horrocks & Ibbotson of a higher end. I have been told that both companies produced "custom" rods. Regardless, I have been informed by a very reputable rod maker in my area that the rods have some value, the bamboo appears to be very good and these are good candidates for rebuilding. The exception is rod number five, the old casting rod. Would take a lot to restore that one. Rod number four is, of course, a Horrocks & Ibbotson Governor. Can be valued as high as $200 but I think a bit less for this one.
Anyone agree, disagree, don't give a rip, can't stand the nighthawk anymore? :? ;)
Seriously, I need to come up with a monetary value for these rods. I would appreciate any help with that. If I did not value your opinions I would not persist in asking for them.
