Rough Swap
This will be a small swap for those of us who enjoy the guilty pleasures of fishing for rough fish. Anything goes as long as it is a good, effective pattern for carp, drum, buffalo, gar, suckers, etc. This is a good time to share your favorite corn fly, cottonwood fluff fly, food pellet imitation, bread crumb or mulberry imitation or any other of your favorites.
We'll keep it small, and will keep it reasonably short as well. Signup limited to the first 6 tyers plus the swap meister. Have 6 flies tied and to me by July 4 with a crushproof container, return packaging and postage (no metered postage). Be sure to have all of your flies toetagged with your username on FAOL and the fly name at the minimum.
I'll try to develop a mulberry imitation for the swap but will reserve the right to change my mind as always. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif

Now come on, guys. I know that there are some closet carp fishermen around here, or at least some wannabes! http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif It's OK, you are with friends here. I can even get you pointed to some patterns if you need a little push getting started. BTW, Diane's thread on the fly tying forum about the corn fly would certainly qualify here.

I added 1 more tyer from the not-online world. This will be interesting! 2 spots left. I'm going to close the swap on June 25 if it isn't filled by then. I'll send mailing info later today for those already signed up.

My flies are in the mail and on their way. I have enclosed extra for the Swapmeister, I do not enclose a fly to be sent back to me. If the swap does not fill, the Swapmeister is to keep any extra's from me. Thanks again for letting me joining in on this swap. John

You are in and welcome aboard! We have one spot left. The next to post for it gets it, but I won't be online again until Saturday. So I won't give you a quick confirmation, but you will still get the spot if you are the first to post.
