When to go fishing?
The obvious answer is, "Whenever you can." But I really like to know as much about the weather as possible when planning. Weather Underground (http://www.wunderground.com) has recently upgraded their website to include a 10 day forecast with temp graphed, chance of rain, snow, etc., and you can customize for barometric pressure, cloud cover and humidity. I have a reporting station with 2 or 3 miles of my house. This is a screen shot of a few minutes ago for my location.

That looks really helpful. I have set up a page in my bookmarks.
Thanks for posting this,

More bugs hatch on a cloudy day than a bright sunny one. And some of my best fishing has been on a light rainy day (not a down pour just scattered showers).

I don't mind a light rain in the summer, but I'm allergic to lightning, which frequently accompanies rain down here. And when you are float tubing the fastest you can go is really slow if you are across a lake from cover.

I also use the WeatherUnderground site.
But I can tell you that with the past few "warm" days, got the canoe out and giving it a going over. Got the tackle out, too - PLUS put a new line on a new reel - and what happens ... rain with a following cold front came to visit! So I"m past due to go fishing!
