7'6" 4wt Matrix
This one is a rod for a customer that is giving it to a co worker from the people at work as a retirement gift. It's a Matrix 7'6" 4wt 2pc green&black woven blank, Amboyna reel seat insert with Nickle silver hardware, Fenwick style grip with the front hood exposed and wrapped on the seat and SFG's. The color wraps I took a chance on with this one because I wanted to do something different and wasn't sure how it would look on the green blank. But needless to say was VERY pleased with the results of the wrap colors. Its Chestnut (CP'ed) with white (NCP) trim.

Thanks mnklagoon, this one ..even though its wasn't my own, was one of my favs I have done as well. I really liked the way these colors came out. Gonna have to remember these colors for one of my own!

if it wasn't one of yer own why did you pimp it?
-
mr.blue...what do you mean "pimp it"? why did I post it? if so because I just like to share some of my work here with guys because I think we all can learn from others builds, as I have done from others posts. Maybe you mistaken it becuse I build it but it wasnt "mine"(ownership) But I built it for a customer .
Or am I mistaken with what you mean with your post???

The cigar grip is one of my favorites, but of all the grips out there, the Fenwick tops the list. I would like to build a 2 or 3 weight with a Fenwick grip. If I could find a 6 or 6 1/2 foot multi-piece slow to moderate blank.
Very nice work sir, very nice indeed.
