Was just cruising a few sites and noticed tradenstuff looks to have up'ed his prices on his ever growing stockpile.Looked at a few winstons and prices had risen.Seems a lot of his stock that is no longer made carries a price near its original price.He does have some wanted sticks though.
There is stuff there listed a higher than original retail and a lot of stuff that I can find at lot lower prices as well as a lot of stuff that seems priced about right. When it comes down to it stuff is worth whatever someone wants to pay for it. The site is a good place to look for discontinued gear you want to get now without waiting for a good deal on eBay or some classifieds site.
I just went through it and it all looks higher than other places..
I think some sellers are trying to capitalize on some of the discontinued stuff as being highly desirable, like the WT's, etc..
I have contacted him on a st croix legend ultra four weight I have been admiring since I have its brother a 8' 5 weight.we will see how it goes.
