Streams Changing Their Identiy

I am still in fishing mode here. I can't fish but I can explore.

8 years ago I fished a stream with a Father Son combo.

The son was new to fly fishing.

My buddy and I scored a beginner first trout.

My buddy and I fished this stream a couple times in the last few years.

Lots of trout....browns....little ones...natives...

For some reason the stream has had a temp change...10-12 degrees.

Went from a brown stream to a brookie stream.

Heard about it 2 years ago and doubted it.

Went there today and checked temps....was shocked....

decided to walked upstream and see what was going one.

A big trout blasted out of the shallows and hunkered down in the next hole.

The stream is NOT a brown trout ONLY stream anymore.
