GI's
The disaster at Ft. Hood, and a couple of the posts here at this site got me to wondering; How many of us are veterans and how did we serve. Feel free to participate, or not. Either is fine. I'll start.

USMC 0311 Rifleman (Grunt) 1970 - 74
After the Marine Corp, I joined the Army National Guard as a 155 Howitzer crew member and then when I moved to Florida, I joined the USAF Reserves for three years. Yes, I know that I am a very slow learner, but I learned lots from each branch of the service and met some terrific people along the way.
