3-21/3-22 metro beach bass and crappie

3-21-12, 3-22-12 went to Metro Beach off Lake St Clair for several hours each day. Walked the rocks on the point casting towards the rocks off shore managing a lot of small micro bass the biggest coming on the last cast as i was reeling in. cast out, began reeling and had something nice on. always a pleasant surprise. All the bass (and some perch) came on a micro clouser in brown over white. 3-22-12 walked the marsh on the other side of the beach and got a nice crappie on the same clouser. Also lost a decent pike as it came up for it i pulled the fly out of its mouth. Odd cuz pike usually don't miss. As of today its the end of the nice weather and may be sometime before im able to get out. Hope everyone else gets into em.
