Batson SB series 1pc Spinning rod

This one is for a customer whom is giving it to his Father in law for Fathers day in June. Blank is a Batson 6'10" 1pc fast action spin rod blank 6-14lb 1/8-5/8oz lure wt. Pacific Bay graphite for the reel seat. The split grips I dressed up by sanding and smoothing the first 1" or so of each end, then wrapping metallic bronze thread and and trimming/spiral wrapping gold electra thread as trim then extending the finish all the way up over the threadwork. Epoxy ramps, bronze metallic in between the split grips. Then I printed out and outline of the new owners state (Arkansas) and put his initials inside the state. Ceramic guides, med brown main wraps (no CP) with electra trim, a hook keeper, some black thread base under the inscription and Threadmaster finish to round it out.

Hopefully someone is going to enjoy his Fathers day this year.
