Count your blessings! There's no season down here in the South, but for the natural ones. I gotta wait for the water to go down, clear up and warm up. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/frown.gif
Good luck, catch one for me! See, living in the south ain't always year-round-fishing.

The trout season on the watershed where I live does not open until May 7 this year!
Luckily, the mouth of the local river has a year round open season (Unfortunately in Canada this hangs on for a long time)
Ah quit complaining, the searun trout START arriving here in the third week, ... of JUNE !!

Great pictures!.....I hope it doesn't hurt your feelings that we have an 'open season' here........and have had a mild winter........and that I'm retired......and my wife loves for me to go out and 'exercise' by fishing.......lol
Nice Pic . I won't icefish , because it seems too much like meat fishing . I don't believe you can haul a fish thru a hole in the ice then safely return it to the water unharmed .
We have some open water all year round, but It can be COLD Cold cold on the lake this time of Year . Come on Spring Hurry up will ya?
Come on down--Missouri Trout Opener is March 1.

2 weeks and I'll be in your neck of the woods. See you on the water Spinner!
Boy I am glad the Bow stays ice free (well sorta) and fly fishing is available all year. I think I'd go crazy waiting for an "opener".
Len, thanks for the comments on that pic. I love that one. There's even a little blue winged olive natural on his nose! http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
