What is your "fantasy vise" among those currently manufactured?
It ain't the vise. It's the talent I crave, the ability, the skill, the innate talent. or at least a faster learning curve! My Renzetti presentation is a better vise than I am a tier, I need no better.

I think an Anvil Atlas would be my pick. It's their newest product and I have been impressed with their other offerings. Made in the USA by people who know steel.

I really don't know. I started on a Herter's vise, moved to a Regal about 15 years ago and to a Renzetti Traveler about 10 years ago. Every time I look at another vise and try to determine what it will offer me that my current vise doesn't, I come up short. The Renzetti holds hooks fine, rotates as much as I need it to, and is pretty stable. I've been tempted to buy a new vise several times in the last couple of years, but until I can figure how it will help me tie better, I just can't justify it.

Can't believe anyone could vote for anything but the LAW - but fantasy it shall remain. Second is that vise you have with the engraved jaws.
Hands down the "Dingo vise".
Which I already own two of them.

A Jvice without a doubt but it shall remain a fantasy for some time.
I have a renzetti and a Nor and really like them both but those clean lines and the attention to the really small details as well as just the great ergonomics of it have made me want one for many years.
