I've had great luck using Potter's River god emerger
Hook TMC 101 or 100
Thread Yellow 8/0
Tail woodduck flank under rust zelon
abdomen light yellow dubbing
wing buds Grey zelon, or dun CDC
thorax brighter yellow dubbing
Here's two that work for me:
Tie this one on a hook size larger than the adult.ie size 16 adult is tied on a size 14 hook.
