Oooooooo!! What size crock pot? Looks like you have tomatoes in there, too?? Anything else? Gawd, that looks soooo good!!
no tomatoes ...
spiral cut ham...
the end pieces...has skin on it...
helps flavor soup.
A big crock pot.
make sure to soak beans in water for 24 before making soup
That dose looks good,, can you please list the 15 varieties of beans....:)
Northern, Pinto, Large Lima, Blackeye, Garbanzo, Baby Lima, Green Split, Kidney, Cranberry, Small White, Pink, Small Red, Yellow Split, Lentil, Navy, White Kidney, Black Bean.
I've made the fifteen bean soup but I can't help tinkering with the recipe on the package. I always add diced celery and often add mushrooms, a tablespoon of hot pepper saucer and/or some burgundy to replace some of the water. Sometimes a can of diced tomatoes too. It freezes well which makes a fast meal for busy days.
looks great, one of my favorite soups. that and corn bread and a good after game nap..

You just listed 17 kinds of beans, but, who's counting.....: )
took the kinds off the website for the product
There's no Okra, you can't make soup without okra.
I was grocery shopping tonight and walked past the bag of beans. Went back and grabbed one. Thanks for the heads up on such a simple and yummy recipe. Usually I make split pea but this should be fun and something to look forward to with the beans soaking and all.
