NWSI Derelict Fishing Gear Program

Notice from the NWSI Derelict Fishing Gear Program.

To date they have removed 972 nets & 1636 crab pots from our waters, restoring 211 acres of marine habitat. They estimate that there are 4,000 nets and 14,000 crab pots that are still out there to be recovered.
