Baby Food Jars
Got an 8 month old daughter and access to plenty of baby food jars.
Here is the question: Is there a flyfishing/tying need/use for these?
Where else in the world will I get a better answer than FAOL? - Nowhere!
So folks - let's hear your thoughts.
Thanks,
paff

If you thin adhesives such as Goop (w/naphtha(lighter fluid)) or silicone (mineral spirits) a baby food jar is a great place to store them http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
If you have a food processer, real veggies and fruit are much better for the little one than the jarred stuff with added sugar and salt.

Good for wet blending small quantities of fur.

They store hooks, beads, silk thread, anything smaller than they are!! In the garage or workshop; nails, screws, picture wire, hooks (re;picture), and the tops can be screwed into the underside of a shelf, and the jar screwed on and off. There's probably a bazillion uses for them!

Best uses I've found are for Goop(already mentioned), thinner, dye powders. You can also put moth balls(crystals, para-something or other) in them and put some holes in the lid. Put the jar in with your materials. They are too space consuming for hooks. Just make sure you label e*****ar.

paflyfisher;
Could you Drill a hole in the lid and store chenille and warn in them? Lightly sand the holes to remove burrs.
