October Swap

I guess Chris is not with us anymore, and he was up for hosting the October Swap. I'll wait for a day or two and if no one else wants to host, I'll come up with a theme, and host it.

That works for me.

If we go with this put me down for The Carrot Nymph- not much more fall like than orange.

For "Fall Colors," I'll tie a Ishigaki Kebari.

Depends on where in the world you are, here in south Texas fall colors are the same as summer and winter, a nice golden brown. I'll do a wooly bugger for this swap.

I'll figure out a pattern and get back to you shortly. Fall colors...yellow, orange and brown, hmmmm. Sounds like a crawfish of some kind, to me......or a cool-looking minnow.

I will do some sort of woven fly.

Happy Oct you all. Lets do flies with autumn colors. I am making a new thread because I couldnt edit the one that was previously made. In lieu of the govt shut down are any of you furloughed, military vets or currently serving. If so let me know any extras will go to you all, if your a member of congress tie triple the number of flies (kidding). Thanks for the awesome experiences I have had in the swap, and thanks for letting me join the swap.

Here's mine for this month. I made a crawfish version of a Clouser Minnow. I'm calling it,,,,,,(wait for it....) ...the Clouser Crawfish. :D

Weight: Barbell eyes
Body: Bucktail, orange on bottom, rust brown on top, with a few strands of copper Krystal Flash.
Legs: Brown and Orange rubber legs
