Don't get me wrong, I like my Mariners. But, this year I bought a St. Louis Cardinals baseball cap. They just beat the Phillies and are going to the NLCS against the Brewers. Carpenter pitched a complete 3 hit shut-out game and won the game 1-0. Goooood Game.
The Tigers go against the Rangers in the upcoming ALCS. So, next year I'm getting a Detroit Tiger ball cap.
being a pirates fan i will always love jim leyland but i have always like the cards too. St. Louis is just a very tough, solid team top to bottom.

......and I even cheered for the Lions - even through the decades-long drought - Go Lions!!!! Finally!!!! (sorry, its been so long, I just had to throw one in there for the Lions!)
I am rooting for the Tigers because they beat the Yankees and being a Mariners fan, I don't care much for the Yankees.
I always root for the team that plays the Yankees.
Hey, the Lions are getting some love down here too, I guess because of those Georgia/Ga Tech guys on the team. In that division I will always pull for the Pack first but it's time for Detroit to have a little success in something.Quote:
