What new chat-room?
Select the 'Chat-Room' page or the 'menu-entry' from either of the two BB 'links' or the link 'chat-room' on the left side of the main front page. Fill in your user-name and your regular 'password' and select 'login'.
This makes the light, horizontal bar 'hot'. 'Click' on it and you're on you're way.

It is a bit annoying to have to fill in your password for the chat immediately after you have done so to get on the bulletin board. Any way to carry the password over?
-
I'm logged in automatically every time I come to the BB but I have to log in all over again every time I enter chat. My password manager does not ask me if it wants it to remember the info like most other password enabled sites I visit.

We have set it to be able to remember your user name but not your password.

can't get in???
at 1st the loading process worked ok but now I get the bird/loading thing & then a blank page & is far as I can get???? I have waited up to 5 min & nothing.....oh well....

Skeet,,, first report of that. Against the law ya know. A 'sick bird'? Illegal.
-
Just logged on and entered the chat room. No other sane person was there right now of course, but I verified that I can get in. Even typed a message to myself. Kind of reminds me of being home alone and talking to myself. I'll have to stop back later when other people are around and try it out. Thanks for the heads up JC.
Now is there a scheduled time for the chat with subject matter that is scheduled in advance, or is is a free for all?
-
Clay,
Don't know about other hosts, but the Saturday night 8-10 PM slot is for the Married or couldn't get a date for Saturday night crowd. Sort of a free for all, but we try to keep it fly fishing related and family friendly most of the time.

Clay,,, for nearly 13 years, yes there was. But, yesterday we took it down. When the hosts sign on/log on they will list the topic. It will be posted on the BB as they do it.

Ron, I fit into the married and not looking for a date, but ocationally still looking at which point my wife whacks me with whatever she has in her hand at the time. :p
Saturday night will work when I am in town and not chasing trout or turkeys in the next couple of weeks. I'll have to stop in an say hello to the crowd.
JC, not much of a computer guy, just like to talk fishing. I'll have to try one of the chat sessions one day soon. Are there more nights to join in besides Saturday or do you just check in when you are available and see if anyone else is around?
