finally finished my 5wt
Finally blundered my way through building my first rod, a 4 piece Forecast 5wt. I have two more kits as well. This will be a backup or loaner rod but I'm looking forward to trying it out. It took a long time due to fear of the unknown, the learning curve, problems with the wrap finish epoxy and I had to make some stuff. I made a 18 rpm drying/finishing turner and a heated drying box.
Now for the 9' 4wt Forecast with single foot guides, then the H&H 8wt IM6. Or maybe the 8wt first...how about a 6wt, don't have one yet..well, after the 2wt...
I'm in trouble, right?

Sounds to me you are on your way to partial addiction. Rod building is all what you make it. Like Fly tying......it's fun, creative and most of all, an individuals work of art. Once I started, I was hooked. Many others on this board were too.
