How far do you drive to get to your fishing spot?..
just curious (:
Well, it depends on which fishing spot...
From my home to:
Box Canyon of Henry's Fork - 1-hour
Vernon Bridge stretch of Henry's Fork - 40-minutes
Chester Dam stretch of Henry's Fork - 25-minutes
Henry's Lake - 1-hour, 15-minutes
South Fork of Snake - anywhere from 5-minutes to 45-minutes
Big Lost River - 1-hour, 40-minutes
Burch Creek - 1-hour
Kelly's No-Tellum Spring Creek - 50-minutes
Man, am I spoiled!
Kelly.
Holy schmazoly! I'd say so!!
Ausable Michigan 19 hours
Black Hills SD 15 hours
Snowy Range WY 16 hours
SoMO trout parks 4 hours
Lake Tumblesom near Ward, CO - 2 hours
Johnson reservoir - 10 minutes
South Platte River - 20 minutes
Clear Creek - 1 hour
It's not bad.
There's a trout brook right across the street from the house, plus a few others in the area. The streams I fished this week were 15 and 25 minutes away.
There's 22 fishable warmwater ponds right here in town and salt water fishing is about an hour away
Lemme see:
Au Sable River, Mi - about 3hrs
Huron River, Mi - 20mins
Gunnison & Taylor Rivers, Co - 14hrs
South Fork of Snake River, Id - 18hrs
Mike :D
The closest is about 6 blocks from home.
My favorite is 117 miles.
While I'm 10-30 minutes from Clear Creek (depending on location), and 45 from Deckers on the S. Platte, I prefer to fish the Colorado which is just under 2 hours.
