Hello All,
Does anyone know who is the originator of the Orange Crush, a South Fork Chernobyl ant variation?
It was the winning fly in the 2002 Jackson Hole One Fly Contest.
Thank you in advance for your replies.
Cheers,

So Mr. Two Shoes,
How on earth did you know I made that fly?
I can't believe anyone remembers that thing! I am flattered to see it posted in such an illustrious forum. I'll post the original recipe if anyone is really interested.

Hello Steve,
Glad you are visiting with us!
Yes, by all means if you could share the original recipe, that would be great! JC and LF may even convince you for a Fly-of-the-Week submission?
For chernobyl ant lovers out there, this is a beauty!
Cheers from North Texas,
Richard

Hi Guys,
Gee Mike, I though for second I was famous! Someone showed me that issue but I forgot about it. Good eye!
My recipe for the OC is as follows:
sixe 8 3X long Dai Riki streamer hook (the biggest hook allowed in the One Fly)
Cinnamon Foam on the bottom (it can be hard to find)
Brown foam on top (or tan)
Blue Ribbon Flies "Crab Legs" in olive (they really wiggle well)
Yellow single strand floss for thread
Yellow or white poly-yarn tied in at head and trimmed to profile of fly for indicator (I would usually grease the heck out of the indicator to keep it floating in the surfact film). I figure most of you know how to tie a Chernyoble Ant, which this is; I usually tried to segment the cinnamon foam 4-5 times to make it look more buggy. Have fun with it.
