I see there is another distributor coming to light called Tenkara New England. Saw one of the rods on EBay with announcing themselves. If nothing else it is nice to see more players. Looks like a nice rod. 12 foot 6:4 is what they are displaying.

It looks like the company's name is Tenkarapelli Fly Fishing (their logo is a Kokopelli with a tenkara rod resting on his shoulder) and they are entering the tenkara rod field. I note that their rod on eBay comes with an extra tip and is Buy-It-Now priced at $135.
I welcome more companies to the playing field and not have to shop only at the monopoly stores. Maybe it will bring prices down a little
I have one of these rods, and they feal very good in hand! Unfortunatley due to my moving cities I have yet to be able to get out and use it on the water. I am excited for this company, and think people will be very happy with them.
Tight lines,
Brandon
Is there a link to that outfit? :)
I don't really know anything about them, but here is the link.

I know these guys and give them a full backing. They are very passionate about Tenkara and want to share that with others. They send a spare rod tip with the rod purchase, which is very nice addition.
Cheers,
Brandon
