Lots of run off.
We targeted stream with lots of springs.
Wanted stream temps to allow trout to bite.

Brightened my day. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to get out and get some fishing under my belt this year.
Looking at your photos I can almost smell the river.

This is my obligatory reply to your fish photos. My very own gallatin river surprise. The fishing out here in Bozeman is wonderful this time of year!!! Sorry the picture stinks but I fish alone most of the year, not many people in my circle are crazy enough about fishing to brave cold water, snow, and blustering wind just to catch a few fish during the two remaining hours of daylight after work.
March came in like a lion for us this year, and is still wrecking havoc on us. Most of the snow has melted off, the rivers are way over their banks, and we are under a snow advisory for tonight for 4-6" of new white stuff. We can't seem to catch a break to go fishing. If the rivers aren't frozen, they're raging with melt-off. Welcome to Spring in NE Ohio. I can't remember why I live here?!?!?
