a friend and I fished the Elk river in B.C. yesterday. We flat out kicked butt.I've had days
where i've caught a lot of fish,i've had days i've caught some big fish but honestly
yesterday I caught a lot of big fish.We were wading.using dries I started out with my
3wt.but retired it after I hooked the first fish. the fish were averaging 3-4 lbs and taking
caddis,stimulators and hoppers on top
copper johns and stones down below.
On the down side one day of license and classified water fee will cost you 42.00 dollars
U.S.not a trip i'm going to make every day but I will go back at least once more this
summer.
all I did was move it here

Thanks J.C. I was on the fly when posted got home from B.C. and headed right back out the door for a camping trip with the wife and kids on a local stream that is loaded with Bull trout this time of year.
I won't give the name of the stream but i've hooked an even dozen bulls since 1:00
yesterday afternoon and I have a new favorite fly.The flyshop had better stock up on olive magnum zonker strips because i'm about out.
