I don't want to sound like I am nit-picking, but I thought that this site has an article detaling similar knowledge. It may be under the FF101 group of articles Castwell wrote for beginners that is archived here (been a while since I referenced those articles).

Edit: Correction: FF101 does have a couple of articles on fly lines, but no illustrations like in the linked website. I still think that I saw similar information, including similar illustrations in one or more of the articles in the archives, here on FAOL.

Gee, all that knowledge certainly deserves at least 2 credits at Cortland Community College.

Have read like articles on this subject and one really has to scrutinize for the little differences in them. But for sure I do agree on the DT line for the best dry fly presentation. Would take difference on his ho-hum attitude for the level line as I've found for my likes it does a great job on popper fishing (bass & bream) for some of these rivers I fish around here.
