Fly Fishing Costa Rica
I'm heading down to the Osa Pennisula on the Pacific side of Costa Rica the first week of May. Can anyone recommend an area or specific outfitter for inland fly fishing on the flats or in the mangroves?
I've also heard that there are transplanted rainbows in some rainforest streams. I'd appreciate any info on this as well.
Thanks.

Make sure to verify the current accuracy of the articles. Having been born and raised in Latin America I learned early on that consistency is not considered a virtue. Thus the hotel that was wonderful last year could be a house of ill repute this year.
As for the fishing... there has been some problem with the stream trout being fished the "easy" way by some of the locals.... i.e. a bottle of clorox poured in the stream gives you loads of fish.....
Check at least two sources....

I'd double-check the rainbow info. There is a rainbow bass down there, but it resembles a peacock more than any trout I've ever seen.
