Mangrove Outfitters or Everglades Angler are the 2 fly shops in Naples :!: 8)
Art,,,, forgive me for this, but,,, learn how to double-haul !!!! You (and your guide) will be glad you did. Mostly,,, if you can't do it,,, yer mostly screwed.
Thanks for the info. JC -- my double haul is rusty as don't need it much for the small steams and warm water lakes around here. Hope to grab a small sample of salt water in a couple weeks on this short trip--will let you know.

seriuosly,,, so many times guys have lost out on great fly fishing down there because they were "trout' flyfishers. Trust me,,, get all the help and real instruction as soon as you can...
And,,, report back, let us know how it went.
Art,
I can give you first hand experience that JC is right on the money. (As usual :) )
I am a midwest (MN) trout fisher and have fished in that area several times. I have done exponetially better once I mastered my double haul technique!!
I would recommend Lee Island Outfitters in Fr Myers Beach, or if you want a truly unique and enjoyable day head down to the 1000 Islands area of the Everglades. I have fished with Bill Faulkner in that area and never been disappointed.
Give me shout if you want more detailed information.

Just picked up a copy of the FL Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commisions Boating and Angling Guiide to Collier County at Everglades Angler. Has alot of info, but you may want to check Naples Fishing on a web search. 8)
