I need help. When it comes to computers, I'm very "technologicaly Challenged". I want to send the fly of the week artical to a few friends. Can any one walk me through this. Please remember your dealing with a computer "idiot" thanks.

Hey Tom,
Look in the upper left corner of your
screen. You will probably see the word
"File". Click on "File" and then when the
new box comes up, click on "Send page by
email". An email screen will come up for
you to add the addressees and any notes you
might want to send. Good luck. Jim

Mozilla Firefox doesn't have that option under "file", but does have one for sending a link to the site. It automatically opens up your mail program with the link in the body of the e-mail.
Learned something new from you , Jim. Thanks!

oldfrat, what version of Firefox are you using? It is under "File" and is called "Send link"

Or you can right click on the fly of the week page ...click properties...highlight the address...control c...then control v it to the body of your email...
personally I'd do the file thing but if it's not available the above will work.

- Right click in the middle of the article, thread or page you want to send as a link.
- Go down to properties and left click.
- Highlight the web address and holding down the ctrl key press C.
- Type your email and when you want the link address to appear cold down the ctrl key and press V
DONE !

Joe, that's the one mentioned in my post. Just noted that it was ot "send page" ad Jim had suggestted.
JC, you'll note that none of us told him how to copy the page and send it, which can be done, just how to get them to the FAOL site.

Gotta admit although the simplest solution award goes to JC. I learnt a few things from all the "nerds" above. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif

I'd rather be in Wyoming!

Jed..That's what I said ...and I guess others.....but I love it ....JC nailed it!

Guys, there is no difference between JC's solution and sending a link.
"Sending the link" will bring the person to this site when they click on it, so they can "see it on here!"
Sending the page would be a little different but would have the same result; as soon as someone clicked a menu item on the page they received, they would be seeing it on here. No difference!
Sending the link is the easiest way to lead the person to this site.
