That's volcanic ash. Global warming has heated up the planet to the point where vast areas of the northern hemisphere are being coated in it. ;)
Ed, who is still sitting in his cube eating "sea kitten salad"
I am definitely up to my ash in ash in the Idaho Falls, Id area. Any suggestions?
I guess I'll just have to go fishing, except this morning it read 16 BELOW 0 at my place with a wind chill down to -47 degrees... Not only too much ash, but too cold to get out and move it around.
I wonder what -47 does for ice in the guides?
I think I'll just stay in and visit FAOL and wait for the "end".
Where I am ...My ash is grass:p:p.
Jeff,
I hear you brother! Just north of you it's even worse. More "white death" on the way. If I wasn't originally from the mountains in Pennsylvania I'd be like the rest of the folks around here and just worry myself to death. As it is all I can say is, "bring it ON!"
Just wish I could be like my kids and have a snow day!
One good thing - the more ash the more there is for the fishies! Bring it on.
Woke up to a light coat of snow on the ground and more tiny dry flakes falling from the sky. By ten AM it was gone, replaced with a light rain. bring on the snow!!
71 and sunny here! Freezing rain in Nashville and I'm only about about 70 miles south!!
Tomorrow may be different!!!!:(
