Stick on eyes
I have been having a hell of a time getting stick on eyes to stick to EZ Body. I've tried thin super glue, and mostly end up with the eyes stuck to my fingers. I bought some thicker super glue today and will try that tonight. If any one has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Give Goop a try. It is probably a little more forgiving than super glue.

I use the Loctite gel super glue for eyes. I use my bodkin to hold them in place instead of my fingers.

If, by 'E.Z. Body' you are talking about the braided stuff, then don't use CA glues ('super' glues) for that. Not even the gels. Wrong application.
This is where you want the thicker stuff, like goop, silicones, and the E6000 types.
CA glues work great on foam, or other smooth surfaces with a slight or no porosity. For uneven surfaces, deer hair, stuff like that, use the goops.

Bodkin helps
Hi AP
I use Zappa Gap to hold my stick-on eyes nice and tight. I generally apply the glue to the fly in the area that I want to place the eye. I peel the eye off the big sheet and touch it EVER SO SLIGHTLY to the tip top of the bodkin. Then I place the eye in the glue and touch the eye lightly on the dry surface with another bodkin or even a tooth pick. Holding the eye down with the second bodkin or tooth pick, you pull the original away leaving the eye in the glue. I then push down on the eyes edges with a tooth pick to assure a good bond. Don't use Zappa Gap if you have colored your fly with markers----strange colors will result. You can also use this bodkin method with Goop. Hope this helps, 8T :)

I prefer Shoe Goo over Goop because it dries faster. Just gotta be careful not to leave it uncapped for long.

One technique that I have used successfully is to wrap the stick on eye with clear mono thread and then coat it with a product like soft body. After it is coated you really need to look closely to see that the mono covers the eye. Depending on the placement of the eye this may or may not work for you.
The other option might be to skip the stick on eyes all together and resort to using fabric paints. See any of the fishhead series under the Northeast Gamefish series on Jack Gartside's site.
I wrapped these (Sato Willows) eyes with clear mono and coated to just behind the eyes with soft body.

Goop, for me, in any tube, whether Household, Marine, Plumbers, etc. always works for me!

I frame my eyes (run a bead around the eye being sure to get it on the edge of the eye all the way around as well as a good 1-2mm ring around it on the material) with Loon's UV Knot Sense and use the UV light to harden it and they stay on there forever! : )

Fletching Cement works incredibly well... you can buy it at wal mart, bass pro, etc. It is in the hunting section around the archery stuff.
