I haven't attempted it yet but has anyone tried wite-out for painting eyes on streamers? The stuff is supposed to be waterproof. I'll let you know how I made out

I think my Wite-Out dried up because of Y2K. I remember it being a little lumpy and flat in tone. White nail polish would be a better choice, IMHO.
Never tried it, but, if it does not work, I use fabric paint which comes in small tubes in many colors and can be purchased at your local Wally World. I figure if it does not come off clothing in the washer, it will stay on my poppers.
White-out dries flat (as opposed to glossy), so would not be my first choice. I'd go with Uncle Jesse's suggest or just plain acrylic model paint.
X2 on the fabric paint. I use the butt end of drill bits to get almost perfect circles.
I would opt for something other than wite_out. Nail heads work the same way as the drill bits for circles.
I'm not sure that it would make any difference, but white-out is so toxic that it is considered a dangerous good and you can not legally ship even so much as one bottle by air. With so many options (such as white nail polish), I would skip the white out all together. Just one man's opinion...Jim Smith
Craft paint works wonders for eyes and popper bodies.
House paint also works well, water based and available in glossy and satin. The size of the can is a little bit of a downer but otherwise it works well.
I had to play around a little, I took the square end of a small plastic wire tie and put nail polish on it. You still get a pretty good circle. An 1/4 in. wide piece of craft foam gave a nice oval. Now to learn to do an egg shape eye.
hey WarrenP, I bought a bottle of fabric paint from my local AC Moore. The bottle nozzle is perfect for my use without the need for dowels. do you still use head cement over the fabric paint? thanks for your help
