Writers
All of the writers here on FAOL, whether professional or amature, are fantastic! Before finding FAOL, Monday mornings always called for two or three taps on the snooze alarm. now I jump out of bed so I have time to read before work!
Thanks folks!

Thanks, as a writer, and as a reader of FAOL, I agree completely! Love to wake up Monday morning with coffee before work and read the new stuff.

Gotta agree... this site goes down as one of the best(ongoing) books about flyfishing and tying. The writers are second to none... the input from (almost) everyone takes a whole lot of beating! Keep it up, and THANK YOU ALL
Andy
PS... D Micus... been going through your archive here on FAOL.. when's the book coming out???? Want my copy signed ;0)

I just love the "applause"....thanks.

Thanks. Writing for this group is like hanging out on the front porch of a fishing cabin after a good (or bad) day on the water. Just jawing with your friends about something you really believe in.
I've been writing for years, but just for boards. I read the "lighter side" alot and thought, man, some of my stuff is funnier than this piece. I've gotten a lot of compliments on my writing, so I decided "what the hey" and sent some of my stuff in to Deanna.
What I'm trying to say here is that you make this site a success. If you've got a story to tell, send it in. Deanna is a great editor, so don't worry 'bout that. Secondarily, if you don't want to send in a story, post some feedback on the boards. Those of us who write like to hear what you have to say and it encourages us to keep on writing.
Again, thanks for the compliments.

A compliment that I am not sure that I deserve but I know several ofthe other authors do.

AScott, we're skipping a book and going right to film. i've already signed flats dude to play me (he's better looking).
(and thanks!)
-
Yeah right Dave. Who play's your part, Matt Daemon? He's got the accent and looks a little like you, except you are more buff than he.
I do agree that the writing here is something special. It is a rare week that I don't tear up or have to hold my sides laughing. It is no surprise that Monday AM's are spent reading this site first.
Gotta love it.

Ya never know from one chapter to the next, they tickle your brain and your fancy, not to mention it's from the heart.

Darn you Dave, now I have to wipe my coffee off the screen. If I'm too young looking then you need new glasses. And thanks for the complement. I love having liars for friends.

OK, so I'm not an early riser on Mondays. I come out to the computer, print off a story and then stick it in my pocket to read at lunch.
