Spooky tying goodies
Hey Folks,
Halloween is coming. Just checked out
the dollar store for tying goodies. Found
several but my favorite was the large bags
of chartruese spider web. Looks like good
streamer material and will probably make
some good dubbing as well for warmwater
specials. Lifetime supply for a buck.
Warm regards, Jim

Don't forget the neon orange, green, and blue wigs.

I make some pretty scary salt water flys out of a witch's wig.

Wouldn't it be fun to have a bunch of guys on here go to a craft store, pick up some holloween type items they carry so costumes can be made...and tie a fly. "The Great Punkin Fly". Bet Jim could do it no trouble!

Mantis,
If we are going to be true Charlie Brown, we would have to wait all Halloween night for the Great Pumpkin Fly to appear and be disappointed year after year. Rather than put up with my friends mocking my yearly vigil, I think that I'm going to tie a Wooly Bugger with orange chenille and black hackle and call it quits. 8T http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif

You had better learn to be a happy camper. You only get one try at this campground and it's a real short camping season.

I stalk up on the glow-in-the dark nail polish; & at Michaels, they have glow in the dark paints I like to use on my "Pop-n-Glo"
Poppers !!!!!
