I've noticed that too, but I try not to look at it for fear that it might be contagious. *g*
Great, there goes 3 months of practice. I was using it as a training video.

I noticed that just today. i was flattered, thinking he modeled that graphic after me...
I figured the guy was fishing both sides of the stream at the same time. I thought, man, he's good.

As a newbie to fly casting I thought that was just a device used by the old timers to clear the newbs out of the pool . "Stay away from my backcast Boy"
I use that cast to keep people from crowdnig me. I'll throw a couple of casts along close to the bank in either direction when someone starts looking like they want to move closer. They usually change their mind. :0

Okay you find a video image that shows a better cast and I will use it. Think of it this way, it is an up stream - down stream cast, covering two bodies of water at half the effort.

Otherwise I may suggest everyone go wading in deep water with large rocks in their waders. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/biggrin.gif

Parnelli,
I wouldn't change a thing! I think it looks exactly like your casting stroke http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
