Snake River float trip
MY wife and I are planning a trip to Yellowstone in August. While there I am going to take a Snake river float fishing trip one day. If anyone has any recommendations for guides/outfitters I would certainly appreciate the help. I am not looking for the cheapest, just good value for the cost. I would also welcome any other information anyone could provide. Thanks.

Jackson Hole guides
My wife and I have taken that float trip once, and we used Jack Dennis Outfitters. We were very pleased with the experience - caught plenty of cutts and had magnificent scenery. The guide, whose name I cannot remember, recommended some flies that were very effective not only for the Snake, but also for the streams in Yellowstone. I cannot opine on the other outfitters in Jackson, not having used them.
(Jack Dennis has a great sporting goods store in Jackson, too, and the fly fishing section is first-rate, managed by Jeff Currier, who has written a couple of very good, practical fly fishing books.)

I'll second FlyFlinger. I met Jack once or twice when we lived in Star Valley, Wyoming. He does indeed have a nice shop and good guides. If you've never been to Teton/Yellowstone/Jackson area you're going to enjoy yourself.
