Nice and buggy looking. What's the recipe?
"Wings" are clacka style Zelon. A short loop tied on top.
Thorax is a Zelon dubbing with guard hair
Body is tighter shredded Zelon dubbing
Shuck is straight Zelon

Looks pretty much like the Iris Caddis (from Blue Ribbon Flies). Not that that's bad -- I like that fly and tie / use it in several color variations.

Yes, or like Walter's Clacka Caddis without hackle.
I just like the color combinations and the spikey collar.
Where do you fish these? South Branch of the Root, by any chance?
