I may have the opportunity to flyfish over some wrecks that harbor schools of spadefish and would love to catch some on the flyrod. Does anyone have any fly patterns that they have found to be effective? I have made up some "flies" out of globs of silicone but was hoping something perhaps a little more elegant.
