No suggestion on flies, but MacArthur state park is a wonderful place to fish. You can rent Kayaks there too.

You might want to contact the Ole Florida Fly Shop in Boca Raton (no affiliation). Very knowledgeable and helpful. The weather in Florida has been unusually cool and the water is cooler than normal for this time of year, It might affect what fish are available - and the flies you would want to have. (Hard to go wrong with clousers and deceivers, though)
