Henderson,
Sage & Scott are both great rods. While I have only cast my Scott SAS 4wt & not the E2, I WON a Sage VT2 4pc 6wt right here on FAOL last September. It is a fantastic rod. My 3rd cast with it led to a C&R of a 7 lb steelhead. I never felt out of control & can't praise the rod enough. Light & responsive...I don't think you can go wrong with this one. BTW, your profile doesn't say where you reside, but if you're near me in Canton, Ohio, drop me an email & I'll let you test cast mine.

I've got the VT2, 9' 4wt. and I love it. It has a sort of "RPLish" feel to it. Very smooth casting. I haven't used the E2, but I have heard good things about them
