Sounds like a great way to spend a day. I wasn't aware Reedsport had a Fly Expo. However, it would be a 700 mile round trip for me, a bit far for a one day event. Hope you had a great time.

I did have a great day sagefisher, thank you ! It was a little bit bigger this year and attendance was about even over last year when I had a display. No booth this year so I got to check everything out and talk with friends, watch some great tyers and I even bought some things for the club benefit.
Some of the, as I call them, 'Legends Of The Umpqua' were there, more vendors than I remember last year, two cane guys, other several graphite makers were represented and a fishing collector that I've known for a few years. All in all a great day and since I'm back home already you'd have to figure I'm not far away.
Do you go to the event in Albany, Or ?
