Idaho Nymphs
Last summer while fishing some of the interior lakes here in BC I tried some Idaho Nymph patterns. Black with blue and black with pink worked the best for me. I am going to tie up a bunch of green since I don't have any yet. What sort of luck has everyone else had with this pattern?

dunno about your area, but in the UK black and green combo's work extremelly well early season, hope this helps SheTies

Hi She Ties,
I've not fished the green Idaho Nymph but have done very well on a Martinez Nymph which is similar. Good luck & let us know how it works for you. Take care & ...

Hi SheTies; If you are tying the nymphs, they will be bound to work. But Just In Case;
If you Chant this little "Mantra" as you tie each fly. Your hookup rate will sky rocket.

Have fun. Jax

Al, Martinez nymph, I've never heard of it... what are they like?
Thanks Jax, did you ever try out one of the foam caddis from the SS Christmas swap?
