Thats my plan, fish the creek come Saturday. No winter yet here in North Texas.
Air temps, yes. Water temps....... not the best for catching em on the fly!
Just have to find the fish. I caught a Bluegill yesterday, albiet a small one. It hit a parachute post midge pattern I was trying out.
Bufo marinus?? Bwahahahahaha! Can do!!!!!!!
Yes, but can you catch a bluegill on a fly?

I have two questions.
First, are you sure that's a bluegill and not a green sunfish or a green x something hybrid?
Second, how many of "your boys" are now toads?
Ed, who lives in dread of appearing to testify before a Congressional committee and being asked. "Are you now, or have you ever been, a toad?"
It's a 100% greenie..... but give her this one, Ed. ;) She caught that one about 5 minutes into the trip!
"The Boyz" kept telling me to "lip it" for the picture. it didn't even have lips!!!! Gawd, that was a trip!!
Betty, you'll be happy to hear that I resisted the urge to describe my weekend's activities as "tying up some Christmas nymphs". I have learned that lesson the hard way.
:o
