sneaky pete?
I want to learn how to tie up some sneaky pete flies, but I do not know how. I have a couple premade popper bodies that I can just glue on reverse so the thin part of the body is the nose? Also, what do you use for the tail right after the head? Help me I am lost I only know how to tie wolley buggers and a couple other smallmouth flies??

The sneaky pete is a great fly. I used it all the time until I started using soft foam. Now, for bass and panfish, I use the "Gurgle-Pop Popper". I have the recipe on my Web site and it is also found in the "Fly of the Week" section on this Web site. The link to my site is:
