Book recommendation --The Turtle

I finished reading The Turtle by D.L. Gilmore last night and consider it one of the best books I have read in the past decade. I enjoyed every story in it and admired the ways these stories were told.

The book has references to fly fishing throughout, but it is not a fly fishing book. It is more about people-- their strengths, foibles, characters, relationships and interactions. Some of the stories will make you think. Most will cause to chuckle

While it helps to be a guy and a fly fisher, the next step for my copy will be to loan it to my sister (who doesn't fish) and I'll bet that she also enjoys it a lot.

It is available on Amazon and well worth the price.
