Kudos to Lamson Reels

Just wanted to recognize some great customer service on the part of Lamson. Last year I broke off the handle of my spare spool for a Lamson Velocity and was bummed to say the least. Just on a whim I e-mailed the service dept to see if they offered the part or I could send it in for repair. The response was lightning quick and over the course of several e-mails I now have the part on the way with instructions for the repair. No charge for the part.
Wanted to give credit where credit is due !!!

Kudos from me, too. I've dealt with them and they've been very accommodating.

Another thumbs up here. Had the drag on my LP-4 go out, due to my negligence, and they sent replacement parts no charge, no questions asked.

I admit to being a Hardy slut and have a bunch of them... Over the last five years or so I have started buying Lamson when I needed a reel fix. Their CS has been incredible... and I have not had a failure yet! they sent me extra parts when I called and asked to buy some because I would be on an extended trip without any access to repairs. They failed to charge for them, too...

Yes, they are good reels. Cabela's has their old Konics on sale now in the Bargain Cave. They have updated the Konic brand and some places are discounting the old models.
