New Jim Hatch report
As many of you know, dear friend & FAOLer Jim Hatch of Moncks Corner, SC has not fished his beloved Lake Moultrie (one of the Santee Cooper system) all year due to severe drought conditions. I had been praying for tropical storm Hannah to drop a bunch of rain on him, but when I talked to Jim last night, they had NO rain! He still can't launch a boat.
That being said, Jim & Pat are fine, first Grandchild Drake just celebrated his 1st birthday (Drake is exactly 7 days older than my youngest Grandson, Mike), & in superb fashion got cake & icing all over himself. Jim is also still flying his radio controlled airplanes, so he's at least following a hobby. I DID tell him he needs to post here, so we'll see....
Just keeping you updated. You all better believe that I'll be back down there to fish with Jim again once he has his water back.

:DHey Mikey, Tell Jim we miss him and to come on back.
-
Thanks Mike
I sure do miss Jim and I'm glad to hear that he is doing well. Unfortunately, it's going to take a major tropical storm with buckets of rain to get Jim and the rest of South Carolina back in full operation for fishing. It's so dry and we just keep losing ground. 8T :(

Mike,
Thanks for the update. I sure miss Jim and his positive and valued input here. He's a terrific guy with lots to add. Please give him our best and tell him we'd love to have him post once in a while even if it's not related to FF.
Take care and thanks.
