Come on Jim it does not look that bad...you could always cast between the waves smacking the lighthouse;)
Brad
Sorry, Brad I test higher on the wimp meter every year. hardly left the house today except to pick up some branches from the back yard during a break in the rain.
beautifull shot though and you know you could always invest in a 200 gal fish tank toss in some trout and off ya go. ;) great for them bad days.
Heck i'm thinking of doing that with a few catfish to test new stinkbait recipes. heheheh
The picture is from a webcam about eight miles West of me. A quick glance at that convinced me that even Steve Rajeff couldn't cast in the wind we had today.
Don't blame you for not fishing...a good day to tie some flies.
Good luck with the weather,
Gary
Hey Jim...There might be a nice little eddy (er, whirlpool) just to your right as you walk out the door!...:p
Mikey
Wet your finger, hold it up to see witch way the wind is blowing, then, adjust yourself in your easy chair and tye some flie's....;)
Rainbowchaser, just get out on an exposed point and turn your back to the wind. Then you should be able to roll cast half the spool into the "calm" bay. You just might be surprised at what you get. ;)
<Warning: The preceeding was an attempt at humor. No reader should be incited to act like a fool and actually try this, not even the hard-core Steelheaders.>
That's what chest waders are for...
