... the water heater ... YOU WON!!! :(
What do they win??? The old waterheater?
Yep! That along with the old washer and dryer, and refrigerator ... all with in the last couple weeks! I won't even ask, "what next?!?" I don't want to know!!
Oh, and the real pits of the deal? They can't replace it till MONDAY!!!!
Dishwasher...
aaaarrrrraaaaaggggghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
AHHH, water heaters... I've replaced mine twice in the last 5 yrs, Did it myself, and did the neighbors 2 weeks ago. Mine is electric, so it was pretty easy, just as long as you use a MAPP gas torch to solder the copper joints on the water supply lines.
I thought you liked shopping at Home Depot, Betty.
What ?
You would rather break a fly rod ?
I feel your pain Betty, our waterheater went out, but luckily was under warranty and I got to replace the elements free of charge. Only bad side, now my wife KNOWS I KNOW how to use a mop!!! For the last 9 years I kept telling her I didnt know how to turn it on, but now... :):)
hNT
PS In case someone is wondering, you really and I mean REALLY need to make sure the water heater is drained before taking out the bottom element. Don't ask, just make sure it's drained completely. :(
I LOVE Home Depot!! It's like my candy store!! As would be Ace Hardware, and any lumber yard!! (I'd more likely be found there, on a shopping spree, than at Nordstroms, Macy's or Sak's.) I love the sights and smells, and sounds! The ONLY store that I can think of that would be better ... a hardware store with rod blanks and components!! NIRVANA!!!!!
