I enjoyed your article........... especially this quote.
I would find a place I liked and often stick with it. Not because the biggest fish were there. Because I liked being there. And because I liked fly fishing there.

I only fish certain sections of water on a stream. I have to feel comfortable fishing there, even though I know that section may not hold a lot of fish. I notice most people fish those areas where the hachery truck stops and that's fine with me. Afterall fish still swim!
I think some of us are 'old school', who just want to get away and enjoy the 'entire picture'. I think I got this from my father fishing back in the 50's and I enjoy it more now when I take along my camera.
