Crap.....pie
Well,
It looks like Clearlake is waking up. The crappie and BG's are testing the shallows a bit now and a few are doing their thing. It seems to be taking forever for the water to warm this year.
Had a ball this w/e with an intermediate line and small baitfish immi's.

Nice, but how about some pictures for those of us still fighting the frost! :-)

I haven't been crappie fishing in several years, but the dogwoods are blooming the historical sign that crappie fishing is prime in the south. I know friends from north Mississippi are posting photos of some pretty nice limits from the 4 large lakes along I-55 between Memphis and Jackson, MS.

I think we have a several weeks to go here in Central, PA. Should be awakening by the middle of this month, I hope.

IMG.3390.JPG Does this work? One of Judy's fish.....her first FF crappie. Many 12"-15" fish.

Well,
That did not work. Be back later to figure it out.

Lee, glad you got some. My club went Thurs, Fri and got blown off the water; 15+ mph winds and cold rain. You got the window; maybe the bite will start up again in a week or so. I talked to 9 locals Thurs-Fri; nobody had more than a few fish.

The last I looked, my favorite crappie lake was still frozen over. But with these higher temps and all this rain, it won't be long now.
